Updated Thursday, March 29, 2012 In view of the implementation of the Advance Manifest System (AMS) by local customs, shippers are reminded to provide accurate Invoice Declaration information on time. The manifest refers to a complete listing of the cargo carried in a sea or air transport unit which provides details such as the description of the import/export cargos. Please find the effective dates as follows: Air and Ocean export from Korea: April 1, 2012 Air import into Korea: June 1, 2012 Ocean Import to KR and Transit Cargo: TBA To avoid unnecessary delays, the description of the goods stated on the invoice should be precise.
