What services are available for pickup?
You may schedule a pickup for any UPS package delivery service.

How much advance notice is required for pickup?
When you request a pickup, you will be asked to enter a shipment ready time and a pickup time. These times must be at least one hour apart. Also, you cannot enter a shipment ready time that has already passed.

What is the maximum number of packages UPS will pick up?
There is no limit on the number of packages UPS will pick up. 

Pickup Requests Online
Each pickup request created through ups.com can include up to 30 total UPS Ground and UPS 3 Day Select packages.  If you have more than 30 packages to pick up, you can create additional pickup requests as needed.

How do I use a Billing method other than the one I chose for my package's shipping charge?

You must be registered and logged in to My UPS to use an alternate billing method for the pickup charge.

What are the Billing Options for the pickup charges if I am registered and logged into My UPS?
You can choose to pay the pickup charges through any of the following options:

  1. Selecting an alternative UPS Account Number associated with your profile.
  2. Billing by the same method as the package's shipping charge.
  3. Using the UPS Account Number of the shipment's receiver or a third party.
  4. Choosing an existing credit card in your My UPS profile or another credit card that is not in your profile.

Does UPS guarantee its pickup services?
UPS does not guarantee its pickup services. For additional information, please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Service.

Can I check the status of my pickup?
Yes. When you schedule a pickup, you will receive a Pickup Request Number. You can use this number to track the status, modify, or cancel your pickup.

If you have registered with My UPS and are logged in, you can check the status of your pickup requests in your Pickup History.

If you are not registered with My UPS, you must enter your Pickup Request Number to check on the status of your pickup.

How long do I have to cancel or modify a pickup after it has been submitted?
You can cancel or modify a pickup at any time before the driver arrives.

How do I cancel or modify a pickup after it has been submitted?
If you have registered with My UPS and are logged in, you can visit your Pickup History to cancel or modify your pickup requests.

If you are not registered with My UPS and/or not logged in, you must first enter your Pickup Request Number to check on the status of your pickup.

Do I have to re-enter my location every time I schedule a pickup?
When you register with My UPS, you can save time by setting your pickup preferences. The pickup options you select will appear as defaults when you log in to make a pickup request.

How long are my previous pickups stored in my Pickup History?
If you have registered with My UPS and are logged in, you can access previous pickup requests in your Pickup History for up to 21 days.
