Domestic Billing Options
Select Your Domestic Billing Option
UPS billing options give you the flexibility to choose your preferred payment method or indicate the method of payment your customers require. Whichever option you select, you can be assured of the accurate billing and quality service you expect from UPS.

The following billing options are available for domestic shipments within Mexico.

  • Prepaid: The shipper pays all shipping charges; consignee or importer pays duty and Value Added Tax (V.A.T.)
  • Third Party Billing: The shipper's portion of the shipping charges can be billed to an outside third party; third party must have a valid UPS account
For billing options other than prepaid, a UPS Waybill is required. Unless otherwise marked on the UPS Waybill, shipping charges are billed to the shipper's UPS account number.
