Declared Value: The declared value of your shipment indicates UPS's maximum liability for a package that is lost or damaged. UPS's liability is limited to US$100.00 (or local currency equivalent) on packages with no declared value. You can choose to declare a higher value for your shipment up to the maximum allowed in your country. Shippers may declare a value for amounts in excess of US$100.00 by showing a value in excess of US$100.00 in the declared value field of the UPS source document, or the UPS shipping system used, and paying an additional charge. The applicability of this term, or the availability of the referenced service, may vary according to the country of origin and country of destination.
