For residential deliveries that require a signature, you can leave instructions for the driver if no one will be home. For example, you can ask that the shipment be delivered to a neighbour who will be home. If an adult signature is required, and the sender has instructed us not to leave the shipment with a neighbour, we will make another delivery attempt on the next business day.

• Use a rigid box with flaps intact.
• Remove any labels, hazardous materials indicators and other previous and now irrelevant shipment markings from the box.
• Wrap all items separately.
• Use adequate cushioning material.
• Use strong tape designed for shipping.
• Do not use string or paper over-wrap.
• Use a single address label that has clear, complete delivery and return information.
• Place a duplicate address label inside the package.

To request Proof of Delivery, follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to My UPS.
2. Select the Tracking tab at the top of the page. This will take you to the Tracking main page.
3. Enter your Tracking Number in the input field, or select a previously saved tracking number.
4. Select Track.
5. Select Proof of Delivery on the Tracking Detail page to display a printable Delivery Notification page.
