UPS uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. For your billing convenience, we will also post a 90-day fuel surcharge history. The surcharge will be based on the US Gulf Coast Jet Fuel Prices reported by the U.S. Department of Energy for the month that is two months prior to the adjustment.

If you have a UPS account number, the fuel surcharge will be included on your bill. If you are an occasional UPS customer, a fuel surcharge will be included in your charges.

| The surcharge will continue to apply to all regions of the world served by UPS. The surcharge applies to international transportation charges on UPS Worldwide Express Plus, UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Worldwide Express Saver, and UPS Worldwide Expedited services. There are no accessorial charges to which the fuel surcharge applies. |

An Air Freight Fuel Surcharge applies to the following air freight services for all countries in which these services are available:
- UPS ExpressSM Freight
- UPS Air Freight DirectSM
- UPS Air Freight ConsolidatedSM
