Tokyo, February 27, 2009 - UPS Japan (Tokyo, Minato-ku), a subsidiary of UPS (Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A., NYSE: UPS), the world's largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain solutions, has expanded the service coverage of its Osaka Pickup & Delivery Center (3-3-16 Ishida, Minato-ku, Osaka), in order to strengthen its operations and enhance its service to customers in Osaka.

The expanded areas cover nine new wards in Osaka City. With the expansion, UPS will offer both pickup and delivery services in all 24 Osaka City wards, and be able to provide more comprehensive and integrated services to customers in the whole Osaka City.

"The expansion of UPS's operations in Osaka is the result of listening to our customers' requests," said Yoshiki Mizokuchi, President of UPS Japan. "In this current difficult economic environment, UPS is in a good position to help businesses ride out the economic slowdown.
