Matthew McGee Assumes Position of President of UPS Japan
Tokyo, July 31 -- UPS, the world's largest package delivery company and global leader in supply chain services, has appointed Matthew B. McGee as President and Representative Director of local operations for UPS Japan. In his new role, McGee will oversee all of UPS's operations in Japan.

McGee has been based in Hong Kong since April 2006 as Vice President of the company's Supply Chain Operations for UPS Asia Pacific Region. Prior to his appointment in Hong Kong, McGee was Vice President of Global Marketing for UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Atlanta. Following that, he served as Vice President of Marketing for UPS Asia Pacific Region. In this capacity he oversaw business planning, product development, revenue management, electronic commerce, advertising and public relations activities for over 40 countries and territories spanning from Japan, Korea, Greater China, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent and Oceania.
Before McGee's move to Asia, he held a variety of international management positions in Marketing, Business Development and Technology Development in UPS's operations in the U.S. McGee was the UPS Director of Sales and Marketing in Central and South Texas where he focused on developing supply chain solutions on the Texas/Mexico border.
