As a result of law decree 138/2011 effective starting with 17 September 2011, the threshold for the usage of cash has been lowered from EUR 5,000 to EUR 2,500. For this reason, effective immediately, the maximum amount collectible by UPS in cash on behalf of a shipper is EUR 2.499,99 per receiver per day. The limit for the amount collectible by bank cheques or bank drafts is stated in our terms and conditions of service, which can be downloaded on www.ups.com. We also remind you that our invoices have now been updated to reflect the increase of VAT from 20 to 21% that follows the same law decree above.
