First of its kind, one-stop retail outlet offers full range of business services to North India
 

NEW DELHI, July 27, 2006 - The first The UPS Store in North India opened today at Bhikaji Cama Place in New Delhi. This follows the successful launch of the first The UPS Store outside North America in Mumbai last year.

The UPS Store is India's first full-service retail concept that combines shipping, packaging and other business services such as digital printing, office supplies and Jet Airways ticketing service.  The UPS Store primarily serves small- and medium-sized businesses, mobile executives, SOHOs (small-office, home-office entrepreneurs) and private consumers.

Speaking at the official opening of The UPS Store in New Delhi, David Abney, President of UPS International, said, "India's role in the global economy continues to grow impressively, and The UPS Store will provide businesses as well as consumers a convenient channel to markets throughout the world."

The UPS Store in India operates through a Master License Agreement between Jetair Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Jetair Pvt. Ltd, and Mail Boxes Etc., Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS.

The services offered by The UPS Store in New Delhi include:

Shipping
Full range of shipping options for international shipments through UPS and other domestic carriers. UPS Jetair Express provides shipping solutions such as UPS Worldwide Express Plus, UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Worldwide Expedited, and UPS 10KG Box and UPS 25KG Box.

Packaging
Customised and specialised packaging for a variety of items.

Document Services
Wide range of document services, including colour and black-and-white copying, digital printing, offset printing for business cards and brochures, binding, laminating, as well as paper and office supplies.

Parcel and Document Receiving Services
The UPS Store offers a real street address for delivery of parcels and documents from any courier. Services include document or parcel holding and forwarding, call-in parcel check and notification, and receipt of oversized parcels.

Moving Supplies
Packaging supplies, moving supplies and local pick-ups for items of any size.

Other Products & Services
Computer time-rental services complete with printing and scanning capabilities. Other services offered include Jet Airways ticketing service, faxing, passport/ID photos, rubber stamps, money transfers and travel services.
