Continued Investment in India Despite Challenging Times
INDIA, May 4, 2009 - UPS, the world's largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain and freight services, has moved to a new location within Hyderabad on 14 April 2009. Located at Plot No - 8, Chekoti Garden at Begumpet, the new operational facility extends over an area of 4,500 sq ft, almost thrice the size of the previous facility.
The relocation is an extension of the company's attempt to provide convenient business solutions to its customers and enhance its service delivery standards in India. With the new and larger facility, UPS is better equipped to handle larger volumes of shipments.
"Hyderabad is an important market for UPS and is fast emerging as a popular centre for trade and transactions. The new office is more spacious, thereby making it more conducive for efficient delivery operations. UPS believes in being there when our customers need us the most. Even amidst the current economic conditions, we see this move as a long-term investment that will benefit thousands of businesses in Hyderabad," said Pirojshaw Sarkari, Managing Director, UPS Jetair Express.
