What services are available for collection?
You may schedule a collection for any UPS package delivery service.

How much advance notice is required for collection?
When you request a collection, you will be asked to enter a shipment ready time and a collection time. These times must be at least one hour apart. Also, you cannot enter a shipment ready time that has already passed.

How do I use a Billing method other than the one I chose for my package's shipping charge?

You must be registered and logged in to My UPS to use an alternate billing method for the collection charge.

What are the Billing Options for the collection charges if I am registered and logged into My UPS?
You can choose to pay the collection charges through any of the following options:

  1. Selecting an alternative UPS Account Number associated with your profile.
  2. Billing by the same method as the package's shipping charge.
  3. Using the UPS Account Number of the shipment's receiver or a third party.
  4. Choosing an existing credit card in your My UPS profile or another credit card that is not in your profile.

Can I check the status of my collection?
Yes. When you schedule a collection, you will receive a Collection Request Number. You can use this number to track the status, modify or cancel your collection.

If you have registered with My UPS and are logged in, you can check the status of your collection requests in your Collection History.

If you are not registered with My UPS, you must enter your Collection Request Number to check on the status of your collection.

How long do I have to cancel or modify a collection after it has been submitted?
You can cancel or modify a collection at any time before the driver arrives.

How do I cancel or modify a collection after it has been submitted?
If you have registered with My UPS and are logged in, you can visit your Collection History to cancel or modify your collection requests. 

If you are not registered with My UPS and/or not logged in, you must first enter your Collection Request Number to check on the status of your collection.

Do I have to re-enter my location every time I schedule a collection?
When you register with My UPS, you can save time by setting your collection preferences. The collection options you select will appear as defaults when you log in to make a collection request.

How long are my previous collections stored in my Collection History?
If you have registered with My UPS and are logged in, you can access previous collection requests in your Collection History for up to 21 days.
