UPS Launches Hong Kong's First Interactive Message Display at Central MTR Station
Press Release

Initiative lets Hong Kong Olympic fans express their support at Central

Hong Kong, July 21, 2008 - In celebration of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, UPS is launching Hong Kong's first interactive message display at Central MTR station. Starting today through August 29, the public can send their well wishes and congratulatory messages to the Olympic teams, which will be displayed on the
station's new big screen.

"UPS, along with many Hong Kongers, is proud to be part of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games. It is our desire to bring the Olympics closer to the community. The interactive message display provides a unique opportunity for Hong Kongers to show their passion and support for the Games," said Mr. KK Leung, Managing Director of UPS Hong Kong and Macau.

Adding another "out-of-the-box" dimension to the latest advertising campaign, a model dressed in UPS uniform will also be stationed at the exhibition site during allocated time periods everyday, holding the 3-dimensional basketball hoop which forms part of the advertising campaign.

The fourth phase of UPS's Olympics marketing campaign began in June 2008. Themed "venue logistics", the campaign features how UPS synchronizes with BOCOG in delivering to the Olympics. Four new print and TV advertisements are being broadcast in various outdoor high-traffic locations across Hong Kong, such as Airport Express Hong Kong station and Causeway Bay MTR station, as well as wrapping the Worldwide House at Central.

In April 2006, UPS launched its first Olympics-themed advertising campaign. Titled "Pride", the campaign showcased UPS's excitement to support the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. In March 2007, UPS launched the second phase of its Olympics marketing campaign in China with a commercial featuring renowned Chinese actor Zhang Fengyi.

UPS, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2007, is the world's largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain services, offering an extensive range of options for synchronizing the movement of goods, information and funds. Headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., UPS serves more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. UPS's stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange (UPS) and the company can be found on the Web at UPS.com.
