Getting StartedShippingTrackingReceiving Your ShipmentBilling and PaymentTechnology Support
I received a package with the UPS logo on it, but the package doesn't seem to meet the standards of the Eco Responsible Packaging Programme. What happened?
In order to qualify for the Eco Responsible Packaging Programme, companies must meet stringent standards. UPS evaluates a company's packaging processes on a location-by-location basis, and only locations that meet our standards can use the programme logo. We cannot monitor every package shipped, so we use sampling and other statistical measures to determine that qualifying companies meet our standards.

The participating company that shipped your package is committed to following our standards and to packaging in an environmentally-responsible way. If the box you received doesn't seem to meet the standards, it could be due to human error, or a temporary shortage of the right-sized box, or some other technical limitation. Our qualifying process is designed to ensure that this will be the exception rather than the rule.
