Extended Area Surcharge
UPS provides a collection delivery service in extended areas as well as urban areas. An additional charge applies for each shipment that is collected or delivered in an extended area.

Remote Area Surcharge
A charge applied for delivery to or collection from an area beyond UPS extended areas, which are less accessible for collections and deliveries (domestic and international services).
