The detailed address validation occurs when the Validate This Address checkbox is selected.
This checkbox is located on the Create A Shipment page. To turn Detailed Address Validation off, uncheck the box on this page. You can also set a preference on the Shipping Preferences page by selecting the Always Perform Address Validation checkbox. This is only available for addresses within the U.S.
