Requesting More Information
How To Request More Information
Have problems or questions about your shipment? If your shipment meets certain criteria and you are registered with My UPS, you can request more information about your shipment. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to My UPS.
  2. Select Tracking in the area at the top of the page.
  3. Select either Track Shipments or Track by Reference, depending on how you would like to track your shipment.
  4. Enter your tracking number or reference and select Track.
  5. Select Request more information on the Tracking Detail page.
  6. Choose from the following four options and then select Continue.
    • Standard Request: UPS sends a confirmation letter showing the delivery date, the name of the person who signed for the shipment(s), the number of packages delivered, and any other relevant shipment information.
    • Image Request: UPS sends a confirmation letter displaying an image of the UPS delivery record, which shows your UPS shipper number, the delivery date, the delivery address, and the signature of the person who signed for the shipment.
    • Denial of Signature: Select this request type when the receiver denies receiving a shipment but the original inquiry indicates that a signature was obtained at the time of delivery. The Denial of Signature request reopens the inquiry until satisfactory Proof of Delivery is found.
    • C.O.D. (Collect on Delivery): Alert UPS that a C.O.D. was not received at time of delivery. Please select this option to trace a payment or if a shipment was refused because of C.O.D.
  7. Complete the form and then select Submit. After you submit your request, you should receive a response within seven business days.
