UPS Exchange Collect, our international version of Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.), offers a fast and secure way to do business globally. This service provides a simple payment alternative, reducing the complexity and cost involved with Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, or third-party service providers. Through Exchange Collect, UPS handles your shipment and guarantees that payment is made before delivery.
UPS Exchange Collect is available on a contractual basis for exports throughout North America and in select countries in Europe, Central and South America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. This service may be utilized by customers who use UPS shipping software, or host-to-host EDI systems. To request UPS Exchange Collect, contact your UPS Representative.

Terms of Service
|
- Importer and exporter agree to purchase and sale terms, specifying UPS Exchange Collect for financial settlement
- Exporter ships the goods by UPS
- Importer must instruct their bank to wire transfer payment to the UPS bank account. UPS will not accept cash, checks, credit cards, PayPalTM or Western Union ® money/wire transfers.
- After UPS receives payment, the shipment is delivered to the importer
- Upon verification of delivery, UPS remits funds to the exporter
Note: This service is not available for shipments between EU Member States.
