Declared Value

Gain peace of mind when shipping your domestic and international packages

Description UPS's liability for loss or damage is limited, depending on the type of package and your location. If the value of your goods exceeds this amount, use Declared Value to declare a higher value for your shipment up to the maximum allowed in your country.

The limits of declared value may vary according to the service chosen, and the origin and destination of the shipment. Select View Pricing for Value-Added Services for more information.

Note: International air shipments may be governed by the Warsaw Convention, including its limitations of liability. Charges for declared value can be billed to the shipper (Prepaid), the receiver (Freight Collect), or to a third party (Bill Third Party).
