When you track your shipment, you'll know the exact date to expect it. If you won't be available, you can choose from these options to receive your shipment:

  • To avoid receiving a UPS InfoNoticeTM, leave a note for your driver asking him to leave your shipment in a safe designated place.
  • If a signature is required, have the shipment delivered to a neighbor who will be available.
  • Arrange to pick up your shipment at a UPS Customer Center.
  • Reschedule your delivery for a day when you'll be available to receive it.
  • Have your shipment delivered to a different address.

When Your Driver Leaves a UPS InfoNotice
Learn what to do when you receive a UPS InfoNotice
If you're not present when your driver attempts to deliver a shipment, you'll receive a UPS InfoNoticeTM. The UPS InfoNotice lists important information, such as when your driver will try to redeliver or whether a signature is required.

On the back of the UPS InfoNotice, you'll find instructions on rescheduling your delivery, having your shipment delivered to a different address, or arranging to pick up your shipment at a UPS Customer Center.
