How to Prepare for Receiving a C.O.D. Shipment
If a shipper has selected our Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.) service, we'll collect payment at the time of delivery.
Prepare for Delivery
When receiving a C.O.D. shipment, please be available to provide payment on the delivery date shown on your pre-delivery email. If you will not be available, use UPS My Choice® to redirect the package to another address or to have the package placed on Will Call.

Payment Options
You can find the C.O.D. amount due in your pre-delivery email, including what payment methods are accepted by the shipper. Accepted payment methods for C.O.D. shipments can include money orders or checks (whether company, personal, cashier's, or official bank checks). Cheques should be made out to the shipper. Cash, credit cards, and debit cards will not be accepted as valid forms of payment for C.O.D. shipments.

Note: C.O.D. shipments cannot be paid for in advance. The payment must be made when the driver delivers the shipment. A C.O.D. shipment may not be inspected by the receiver before payment is made.
