Finding Surcharges
Extended Area Surcharge
Providing service to and from less populated or accessible domestic and international areas carries higher operating costs. The extended and remote area surcharges are assessed to more accurately reflect the cost of providing service to these areas.

In response to fuel market volatility, UPS actively monitors conditions to protect service consistency. These updates reflect the dynamic nature of the market and current industry-wide conditions.
Surge Emergency Fee
Starting January 01, 2026, an additional charge will apply to all international shipments originating from or destined to Asia, Africa, North and South America, Europe, and Oceania until further notice.
