If you have a Locations tab at the top of this page, select the tab. Then select Find Locations from the area on the left.

If you do not have a Locations tab, go to the Shipping tab and select Find Locations from the area on the left.  Enter your address or phone number to find the UPS location closest to you.

Your package is still within the UPS network and, unless otherwise noted, should be delivered on the Scheduled Delivery Date. Package movement information is captured each time a tracking label is scanned in the UPS delivery system.

Common scans you might see when tracking your package:

• Billing Information Received: UPS has received the electronic transmission of shipment detail from the shipper and a label has been created for your shipment. Once UPS has possession of this shipment, the tracking status will be updated.
• Origin: The package has been received at the origin UPS location.
  Departure: The package has left the originating location and is on its way toward the destination address.
• Arrival: The package has arrived at an intermediate UPS facility or the destination facility closest to the delivery address.
• Out for Delivery: The shipment has reached the local UPS facility responsible for delivery. The shipment has been dispatched to a UPS driver and is scheduled for delivery today.
• Delivered: UPS has delivered the shipment. The date and time of delivery have been recorded in the UPS delivery system.
• Exception: Your shipment is currently within the UPS network; however, an unforeseen event has occurred which could result in a change to the Scheduled Delivery Date.

Three days means three business days (not counting the day of pickup). Please note that the UPS Service Guarantee applies only to business days, and excludes weekends, holidays, and any delays that occur beyond the control of UPS.

You can receive e-mail notifications when files are ready for download. Flat file, CSV, or XML formats allow you to import files directly into software such as Microsoft^® Excel, Word, Access, Lotus 1-2-3, SQL and Oracle^® databases, and other database applications.

1. Log in to My UPS.
2. Select the Shipping tab at the top of the page.
3. Select Create a Shipment in the area at the left, and then select View History or Void Shipment.
4. Select the radio button next to the shipment you want to void.
5. Select Void Shipment.

You can help make sure that your package arrives safely and on time with these packaging guidelines and procedures developed from UPS research.

• Use a rigid box with flaps intact.
• Remove any labels, hazardous materials indicators, and other previous and now irrelevant shipment markings from the box.
• Wrap all items separately.
• Use adequate cushioning material.
• Use strong tape designed for shipping.
• Do not use string or paper over-wrap.
• Use a single address label that has clear, complete delivery and return information.
• Place a duplicate address label inside the package.
  

My UPS offers enhanced features for tracking, such as online Proof of Delivery. With Proof of Delivery, you can find out what time a shipment arrived at its destination and generate a Proof of Delivery letter for your records.

To request Proof of Delivery, follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to My UPS.
2. Select the Tracking tab at the top of the page. This will take you to the Tracking main page.
3. Enter your Tracking Number in the input field, or select a previously saved tracking number.
4. Select Track.
5. Select Proof of Delivery on the Tracking Detail page to display a printable Delivery Notification page.

My UPS offers services to help you better manage your shipping operations, improve tracking, and provide you with an expanded view of your shipping activity. My UPS standard services are offered at no cost, and include:

• UPS Internet Shipping: Provides you with an easy point-of-access for several shipping tasks. You can create professional labels, store up to 2000 addresses in a personal Address Book, access previous shipments, track a package, and view Proof of Delivery.
• Enhanced Tracking: Gives your fingers a break by saving up to 25 tracking numbers to avoid re-typing. Allows you to import and track multiple tracking numbers and receive Proof of Delivery.

UPS has received the electronic transmission of shipment detail from the shipper and a label has been created for your shipment. UPS does not actually have possession of this package until there is an additional scan on the package.

No action is required at this time. You may choose to contact the sender to confirm that they have given the shipment to UPS. If they have, the shipment is currently moving within the UPS network and will be delivered on the Scheduled Delivery Date. This is the most up-to-date information about the status of your shipment. Check Tracking periodically for shipment progress updates.
