Description: The Association between the European Union and Turkey (A.TR) is required to validate claims for preferential duty treatment (reduced or duty-free entry) for shipments to or from Turkey under the terms and conditions detailed by the agreement of the customs union. The form can be prepared either in all EU languages or in the Turkish language. The A.TR is normally prepared by the exporter when sending out a shipment and should be validated by the shipper’s customs authorities. The Certificate is valid for three months. The A.TR cannot be used to or from Turkey for steel and coal products nor for agricultural products listed in chapters 1-24 of the "Harmonized Systems".
